Gabrielle was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming. In high school, she was involved in 4-H, FFA, and was a member of the swim team. She attended the University of Wyoming, graduating with her B.S. in animal and veterinary sciences in 2021 and her M.S. in molecular biology in 2024, and worked as a research associate in the Molecular Biology department, studying intracellular trafficking in Caenorhabditis elegans. During her undergraduate studies, Gabrielle worked as a tutor and a personal assistant. Between her undergraduate and graduate education, Gabrielle worked as a CNA at an assisted living center in Laramie, Wyoming. She is a long-time volunteer of Wyoming Families for Hands & Voices, a non-profit organization that provides unbiased support, resources, education, advocacy, and trainings to families raising children who are deaf/hard of hearing. Her past experiences have fueled her passion for medicine and her drive to be an advocate for others and encourage self-advocacy. Gabrielle is excited to continue her education through the WWAMI program and explore different medical specialties. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, drawing, and spending time with her beloved dog, family and friends. Gabrielle also enjoys getting outside and appreciating the beauty of Wyoming through hiking in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter.
