Wyoming Flaggers Traffic Control Certification

Background Information:

The goal of this program is to establish an online flagger certification program for those working as flaggers in Wyoming.  This online certification program will be replacing the current Flagger Traffic Control Certification conducted through AGC of Wyoming.  There has been an increase in roadwork projects over the years, which has led to an increase in motorists encountering highway work zones.  Therefore there is a need for a user-friendly and online training and certification program for Wyoming Flagger Traffic Control personnel.  This course will help prepare each worker to handle the responsibilities and understand their requirements for traffic control in Wyoming.   

The course has been approved by a certification board made up of members from the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) and the Association of General Contractors of Wyoming (AGC).  All course and examination materials have been established and approved by the certification board.

Prices:

• Regular Registration - $35 per person 
• AGC of Wyoming Member Registration - $30 per person 
• AGC of Wyoming Member Bulk purchase of 20 to 99 registration codes - $25 per person 
• AGC of Wyoming Member Bulk purchase of 100+ registration codes - $20 per person
• Retest Registration - $20 per person (contact our office for the link to register for a retest)

Codes expire on December 31, 2024 but remaining useage will roll-over to the next years code.

WYDOT and AGC of Wyoming have updated the Flagging Traffic Control Manual for the course.  Click on the link to download the Manual.  

Wyoming Flagger Traffic Control Manual 

In order to earn your certification, you must earn 80% or higher on your Certification Exam.  You are allowed 3 attempts on the exam.  A certificate will be emailed to participants upon achieving the desired score on the exam.  We will no longer be using certification cards and assigning certification numbers.  Your proof of completion will be the certificate and we will be publishing a list of certified people each week.  You can find the Certification list below.

How to register: 

Each course participant needs to use a personal email address.

1. Click the Registration and Enroll button below
   • You will be directed to the WyoLearn Catalog page
     
     
2. Click on the "$35 Enroll" button 
   • You will be asked to create an account or sign in to an existing account 
   • Each person must create their own account 
     • Use a personal email address as this is the account you will continue to use for recertification if you switch companies or your certification has expired. 
   • Please remember your login information as you will use it for recertification. 
     
     
3. After you have created an account you will be directed to the checkout page 
   • If your company has provided you with a registration code, enter it in the Promotional Code box and click APPLY.
     • Depending on the type of code you were given you may then be directed to pay with a credit card. 
   • If you do not have a registration code, click PAY AND ENROLL
     • From there you will pay for the course. 
       • Please note that the system does not accept American Express cards. If that is your only credit card, please contact our office for assistance.  
         
         
4. After you have entered your company code AND/OR paid for the course, you will receive an email confirmation of enrollment from Canvas Catalog and can immediately click on the link to begin the certification course. 
   • You may want to save the email in case you need to return to the course at a later date.
