Graduate Assistant Opportunity

The CVS seeks a Master’s level Graduate Assistant for the 2008-2009 academic year.

Alternative Spring Break

Fifty UW students traveled to Waveland, MS for a week of service.  Pictures are available of the 2006 trip along with information about the 2006-2007 trips.

Connecting Campus and Community AmeriCorps

Ten UW students are selected to participate in this program.  They provide local non-profits with valuable volunteer management support, while promoting volunteerism on campus and developing their own leadership and civic engagement skills in the process. 

Student Volunteer Leadership Team

Get involved with planning Volunteer Opportunities in the Laramie community and overseeing the Alternative Spring Break program by joining this RSO.

We can help you get involved in the Laramie community, find summer and post graduation service opportunities, and help you make the most out of the volunteer work you already do. 

Service Learning Resource for Faculty

The CVS has a resource library available to faculty interested in incorporating service learning into their classroom.  We can give presentations to your class, facilitate reflection activities, and help find connections with community organizations..
