Future students can sign up for a daily tour on our beautiful campus in Laramie, Wyoming. We have designed these tours at limited capacity for the safety of our campus community. Each day is available on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to change.

We understand that a trip to Laramie may not be in the cards right now. That's why we've created a self-guided tour of the UW campus that will give you an up-close look at what we have to offer along with real student videos. For the best experience, we recommend watching the tour with sound.

Important reminders about in-person visits

  • Tours are available on a limited basis to promote physical distancing.

  • Tours are offered Monday - Friday.

  • Visits currently only include a campus tour and an admissions session.

  • Students will be connected with their academic area of interest through their confirmation email.

  • All participants are required to wear a face covering while on campus per university policy.

  • To help protect our students living on campus, a tour of the residence halls are not currently permitted. Check out our White Hall tour video!

  • At this time, tours will not be able to go through Half Acre Recreation Center. However, we encourage you to take a video tour the Half Acre facility here.

  • Due to safety procedures, lunch at the Washakie Dining Center will not be offered. Retail options are available on campus along with several restaurants around Laramie.

  • If you're in the area but didn't have a chance to schedule a tour, we encourage you to stop by for our drop-in tour at 2 p.m.

  • Tours are subject to temporary suspension at the university's discretion according to its COVID-19 policy.

    Join us online once a month as we discuss important topics as you progress through your college search journey. Choose from a 6 or 7 p.m. mountain time session during each monthly event. Receive a general overview with admissions and continue onto breakout sessions with the specific colleges/schools at UW.
