University of Wyoming's College of Law

The University of Wyoming's College of Law provides graduate students exceptional training and opportunities for gaining personal experience with practicing law.  As a UW Law student you benefit from:

Committee Named to Consult with President on UW Financial Plan

June 22, 2016 — A 13-member committee representing University of Wyoming administrators, faculty, staff and students has been appointed to consult with UW President Laurie Nichols in preparing a plan to further reduce spending in the 2018 fiscal year.

UW College of Law Establishes New Fund to Support Trial Practice Education

June 21, 2016 — Buoyed by the generous gift of two alumni, the University of Wyoming College of Law has created a new fund for the support of trial practice education, the Trial Practice Success Fund. Alums Nick Murdock (J.D. ’77) of Casper and Cody Balzer (J.D. ’95) of Loveland, Colorado, contributed $50,000 to launch the fund.

Faculty Highlight: Professor Duff Selected as CWCL Fellow

May 3, 2016 — In fall of 2015, Professor Michael Duff was nominated to become a fellow of the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers (CWCL). Professor Duff’s nomination was recently confirmed and he joined an elite group of workers’ compensation lawyers in the nation as a CWCL Fellow.
