In addition to amazing general scholarships offered at the time of undergraduate admission to UW, various academic colleges, departments and programs offer merit-based scholarships to new and returning UW students. We encourage you to take some time to review the opportunities below and apply to those scholarships for which you are eligible.

Your high school counselor - scholarships offered through community or regional organizations are typically promoted through your high school counseling office. Most offices have a scholarship book or bulletin board.
