We invite you to explore Wyoming Transfer Advance, a program designed for students earning an associate’s degree (AA, AS, or AB) at a Wyoming community college and intending to transfer to the University of Wyoming to earn their bachelor’s degree. Transfer Advance connects Wyoming community college students with the right resources for a smooth and complete transition to UW.
Ideally, students are registering for Wyoming Transfer Advance in their first two semesters at a Wyoming community college in order to get the most benefit from the program.
Connect early with UW academic advisors in order to take the right courses at the right time thus decreasing overall time to graduation.
Experience TreQ, UW’s new Transfer Equivalency Self-Service. This online tool will show how courses completed at a community college or any other institution will transfer and apply toward a UW degree. Simply input information about coursework and received an unofficial transfer evaluation and unofficial degree evaluation.
Review the degree programs today to help prepare for your future at UW!
With an associate’s degree, you receive a waiver for all of UW’s University Studies Program requirements (except for Communication 3 courses, which are embedded in degree programs.) You will also automatically receive junior standing for class enrollment purposes, which will enable you to register earlier for the classes needed.
