Duplication Services

The AHC offers a variety of duplicating services to its patrons and researchers. These range from photocopies of documents to photographic prints to copies of audio and film holdings. Please note that use of duplicated materials from AHC collections are subject to copyright restrictions, and are attended by certain costs and policies.

Photocopying

Self-service copying machines are available in the Reading Room. Also, if you are unable to visit the Center, it is possible for staff to copy requested items. Fees associated with photocopying are detailed in our Duplication Fees, under the heading "Copies, per page."

Digital Reproductions

You may purchase high resolution photographic prints, transparencies or digital files. Many Audio and Visual formats in the collections can also be duplicated. Costs associated with such requests are documented in our Duplication Fees.

Many thousands of items from our collections have already been digitized and are available on our Digital Collections website. If you would like a digital reproduction of material you find on this site, please submit a request, noting either a description of the item, or providing a hyperlink to the item(s) in question. You may also request reproduction of material you have found at the AHC, but is not present in our Digital Collections.

Digital Camera Policy

The AHC also permits use of personal digital cameras in the Reading Room (but no scanners, tripods, or flash photography are permitted at this time). Nominal fees apply and researchers are requested to complete a Digital Camera Policy and Use Agreement. See the reference archivist in the reading room for more details.
