Cowboy Ethics

In March 2010, Wyoming became the first state to adopt an official state code of ethics. The symbolic measure spells out ten ethics derived from the “Code of the West” outlined in a book by author and retired Wall Street investor James Owen.

The University of Wyoming College of Business and the Center for Cowboy Ethics and Leadership have joined forces to offer a leadership curriculum using the Code of the West as the organizing concept.
