The College of Arts and Sciences works with six Associated and Support Units for academic and other programs that are beneficial to faculty, students and staff. Fine Arts Outreach provides artistic and educational outreach opportunities for UW and public school students around the state. Cultural Programs offers a number of music, theatre, dance and other performances by national and international performers. The Division of Research Support, or Shops, support researchers across the college and university with special technical needs from chemical stock to machine, electronics and glass shops. The Wyoming Survey & Analysis Center (WYSAC) provides statistical research services for the college, university and public and private clients. The Wyoming Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit conduct ecological research on animals, plants and the geography in the state. The affiliated unit, Science and Mathematics Teaching Center provides science and math teaching and learning experiences from K-16; as well as supports teachers across Wyoming and the region with collaborative and interdisciplinary projects.
