High Performance, Energy Efficient Home Tour

Tour a new home which features: 
Insulating Concrete form (ICF) construction 
Geothermal heating system
Solar thermal hot water and in-line flash hot water 
Radiant in-floor heat 
All low or no volatile organic compound (VOCs)

This tour is limited to 40 people total. Call UW Albany Co. Cooperative Extension at 721-2571 to reserve a place now! Meet at main entrance of Wild Horse Ranch on Highway 130 at 5:30 pm, a bus will take the group to a newly constructed home from there.

A classroom and field-based workshop to discuss options for managing one of the West’s worst weeds.

In this workshop we will discuss current options for controlling cheatgrass, how to assess the recovery potential of your site, and how to develop a site-specific strategy for improving your land. Hands-on demonstration and lunch provided with $15.00 registration fee.
