The University of Wyoming's Criminal Justice program offers a bachelor of
arts degree to students on the Laramie campus, at UW/Casper College Center in
Casper, and at statewide locations through the Outreach School.
All Criminal Justice majors are required to complete 121 semester hours of coursework that include 33 hours of criminal justice courses. Of these 33 hours, students are required to complete the required courses that provide the foundation for upper division core classes.
The 2012 required foundation courses (effective for new students enrolling in the Fall 2012 semester):In addition to the foundation courses, students are required to complete one course from each of the two core areas. The core areas each include several courses from which the student may select.

Finally, all students are required to complete six hours of supporting courses. The courses may be chosen from the above listed core areas or from an additional supporting course area.
