In addition to amazing general scholarships offered at the time of undergraduate admission to UW, the Division of Communication Disorders offers merit-based Steve Elliot Scholarships to new and returning students within the division.
We encourage you to take some time to review the opportunities and apply to those scholarships for which you are eligible.
help for graduate students is also available each year through the
department with assistantships and other funding. Typically, graduate
assistantships are awarded for one academic year and include 1/2 tuition
support and a monthly stipend. These assistantships require the
student to spend 10 hours per week providing supportive services to the
Division or to individual faculty members. Awards are competitive and
based on past academic performance, evidence of professional promise,
and letters of recommendation. GA application
This program is designed to help you build your professional knowledge and skills. The student will work one-on-one with an academic or clinical faculty mentor.
This program provides the student with stipends &
financial assistance to complete a project or activity with a mentor from the
Division of Communication Disorders.
Award: One Student per academic year
will be awarded.
2. Attach an unofficial, current transcript and ACT scores that are downloadable from WyoWeb. If you are a non-traditional student without ACT scores, please indicate that in your statement.
