Recent publications include the novels Snow, Ashes (Graywolf Press) and Keeneland (Simon & Schuster), and Graveyard of the Atlantic (Graywolf ), her third short story collection. Hagy's writing has won a Pushcart Prize and appeared in The New York Times Magazine, Five Points, and Shenandoah, among others, and was included in Best American Short Stories 1997. Awards include fellowships from the NEA, the Christopher Isherwood Foundation, and the John P. Ellbogen Award for Meritorious Classroom Teaching.

 Interests & Hobbies:

Fly-fishing, tennis, running, camping, snowshoeing, poking around old archives and homesteads

Alyson Hagy is a Core Faculty member.

 

Research Interests:
Her research interests are in contemporary fiction (novels & short stories), artist's books, historical fiction, and narrative.
