Surface and Subsurface Hydrology Lab (SSHL)
SSHL will house physical infrastructure to support surface and subsurface hydrological investigations, including equipment for monitoring ecological, hydrological, and geochemical parameters.
Hydrological Scientific Instruments Equipment

Isco 3700 Water Sampler: taking water samples—can be programmed for delays, multiple samples, mixed or sequential.

Onset Tipping Precipitation Buckets: measuring liquid precipitation, has integrated data logger.

Campbell CS 725 with Collimator: measuring snow water equivalency using gamma ray attenuation.

Pluvio2 Weighing Precipitation Gauge—750 mm: Measures precipitation. Must be securely anchored and leveled.

SUNA: Submersible Ultraviolet Nitrate Analyzer: Measures nitrate concentrations in even turbid conditions in real time.
