John Corra was appointed as the Director of The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality by Governor Dave Freudenthal and confirmed by the State Senate in March, 2003.  John's educational background is in mining engineering, with additional education in manufacturing management and organizational development.  His formal education includes undergraduate and graduate school at Montana Tech.   He has spent all of his professional life in the mineral and chemical industries, serving in various executive capacities.  He is also a 2001 graduate of the Leadership Wyoming program.
