Sage Grouse Fence Markers Outreach Materials

The Medicine Bow Conservation District asked the Ruckelshaus Institute to help them produce a brochure and poster they could use to educate landowners and conservation groups about how to create inexpensive fence markers to reduce sage grouse mortality. Fence markers make fence wires visible to sage grouse and other low-flying avian species so they can avoid flying into the fences. We helped refine the text and design to ensure these pieces would best convey the necessary information to the intended audience.
