IR-4 (minor crop use pesticides)
The IR-4 Project is a unique partnership of government,
land-grant universities and growers designed to increase pest control options
(uses) for low-acreage crops commonly called specialty or minor crops.
Work is done to obtain regulatory clearances for chemicals and biological
agents used for crop protection on minor crops when registrants lack the
economic incentives for investment.
