The cycling club provides an opportunity for cyclists to enjoy their sport in and enjoy a community of other cyclists. The University of Wyoming is part of the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Cycling Conference (RMCCC). The club attends races at various locations in Wyoming, New Mexico, Utah, and throughout Colorado hosted by other schools in the conference. Club members may have the opportunity to help officiate a race at some point in the year.
The team attends mountain bike races in the fall, which include downhill, short track, dual slalom, and cross country disciplines. The team also attends cyclocross races in the winter. Lastly, the team attends road races in the spring, which include time trial, street sprints, hill climb, and criterium, and single day racing disciplines. More information about upcoming races can be found at the RMCCC website below. For those not interested in racing, the team hosts occasional non-competitive team rides near Laramie, in addition to weekly practices.
