Intramural Sports

Half Acre Recreation and Wellness Center

Intramural sports at UW offer a fun and exciting way to get involved, stay active and connect with others. Whether you're teaming up for traditional competitions like basketball and soccer or diving into something unique like canoe battleships, there’s something for everyone. It’s the perfect opportunity to unwind, stay fit and forge friendships. Plus, it’s the best way to show off the fact that you’ve still got a pretty epic overhand serve!

IM Sports Helpful Information

At Intramurals, our top priority is ensuring everyone has a great time. We have rules and regulations in place to keep the focus on friendly competition, fun and sportsmanship for all participants.

UW students participate in an intramural sport called “Battleships"

Each intramural sport has its own set of rules. Take time to familiarize yourself with these regulations before your event.

All intramural participants are encouraged to read and will be held accountable for the guidelines outlined in the Intramural Sports Handbook.

All full-time and part-time UW students, UW faculty and staff and UW spouses with a current WyoOne ID and Campus Recreation Membership are eligible to participate.

No WyoOne ID = No Play. No exceptions. Be sure to bring your WyoOne ID card to EVERY event.

If you are interested in an event but do not have a team to join, sign up as a free agent on Fusion! Free agents are visible to all captains and may be called upon as needed.

Each event is officiated by our student staff, and teams receive a Sportsmanship Rating from 0 - 4 after each event. Teams with an average of 2.0 or lower are NOT eligible for playoffs.
