What is SafeRide?

SafeRide is a free public transportation system with service to all University of Wyoming students and members of the Laramie community. Five 5-passenger Mini-vans serve as a method of travel for this service. The system is divided into two services a fixed route and an on call portion.

Hours of Operation

  • Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights you can use this transportation system as follows:

  • 7 pm-10pm (Fixed Route)  
    Designated shuttle stops only. Please see schedule for a list of stops and times.

  • 10pm-2am (on call)

    Pick up and drop off at any location within Laramie

  • Call 766-7433 for a ride.
    via Wyoming Relay at 1-800-877-9965

Rider Code of Conduct

Rider Code of Conduct Please observe the following when using the SafeRide Shuttle Service:

  • Use designated shuttle stops only from 7pm to 10pm

  • No pets

  • No smoking

  • No open containers of food or drink

  • Do not obstruct driver's vision
