License Plate Funded Scholarships
Application deadline is March 1st
Apply by submitting a letter indicating the scholarship(s) for which you are applying and address the following points:
1. Why did you choose UW for your education?
2. What are your academic and personal goals?
3. In what extracurricular, academic, or work-related activities are you involved?
4. What extenuating circumstances would you like the selection committee to consider?
Send
the letter to the Scholarships Department, Office of Student Financial Aid, 174
Knight Hall.
Outreach Undergraduates
$750 Semester Scholarship—subject to renewal
Annual scholarships for students enrolled in an
Outreach Degree program.
Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours per
semester.
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be on
file.
Minimum 2.50 cumulative UW grade point average, with satisfactory
academic progress.
Non-Traditional Undergraduates
$750 per semester, for eight semesters
Four-year scholarships for
non-traditional students.
Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours per
semester.
FAFSA must be on file.
Minimum 2.50 cumulative UW grade point
average, with satisfactory academic progress.
Available fall and spring
semesters only within a six-year period.
5th & 6th Year Undergraduates
$750 this semester—subject to renewal
Annual
Scholarships for 5th and 6th year undergraduate students.
Must be enrolled in
at least 12 on-campus credit hours per semester.
FAFSA must be on
file.
Minimum 2.50 cumulative UW grade point average required.
Second Bachelors Degree
$750 this semester—subject to renewal
Annual Scholarships for second bachelors
degree students.
Must be enrolled in at least 12 on-campus credit hours per
semester.
FAFSA must be on file.
Minimum 2.50 cumulative UW grade point
average required.
Additional License Plate Scholarships are available through UW Alumni Association
