Concerts & Convocations Presents Comedian Nick Offerman

Nick Offerman to perform at UW

Date: Friday, September 19th at 8 p.m.
Location: Arts & Sciences Auditorium
Tickets: SOLD OUT

To: Nick Offerman Ticket Purchasers

Due to a ticketing software malfunction, section numbers were left off of several printed tickets purchased at the Union Information Desk and the Fine Arts Box Office for the Nick Offerman event set to take place this Friday in the Arts & Sciences Auditorium.

As a proactive effort to ensure everyone has a memorable experience, we are contacting you to encourage you to check your ticket(s) and ensure you have a designated section assigned on your ticket(s). If you do not, we encourage you to use the following methods to find out where your seats are located:

- Contact either the Fine Arts Box office or Campus Activities Center this Thursday or Friday during regular business hours to find out your section number. The Fine Arts Box Office is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., is located in the lobby of the Fine Arts and can be reached by phone at 307-766-6666. The Campus Activities Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., is located in Union 012 (lower level) and can be reached by phone at 307-766-6340.

- Arrive at the event early. The Box Office at Arts & Sciences will open at 6 p.m. the evening of the show. The Fine Arts Box Office staff will distribute will call tickets and be on hand to answer any questions before doors open.

- Doors now open at 7 p.m.; rather than 7:30 p.m. We have decided to open doors 30 minutes earlier to help ensure everyone finds their seats in a timely fashion. Tables will be staffed in the lobby for those who need assistance determining their section.  Additionally, ushers will be on hand inside the venue to assist with seating assignments as needed for patrons.

Questions can be directed to faticket@uwyo.edu or 307-766-6666 during Fine Arts Box Office hours (as listed above).

Press Release:

Comedian Nick Offerman will perform Friday, Sept. 19, at 8 p.m. in the University of Wyoming College of Arts and Sciences auditorium.

His performance is part of Family Weekend activities at UW.

Student tickets will be available beginning Monday, Aug. 25, for $15. Students also may purchase premium seats for $20. Non-student ticket sales start Monday, Sept. 8, and will cost $25 or $30 for premium seats. Tickets are available at the Wyoming Union Information Desk, Performing Arts Box Office or www.uwyo.edu/finearts.

Offerman is known for his work on "Parks and Recreation" as Ron Swanson, for which he received the Television Critics Award for Individual Achievement in Comedy. He also is known for his roles in "We're the Millers" and "21 Jump Street."

Last October, Offerman released a book titled "Paddle Your Own Canoe: One Man's Fundamentals for Delicious Living," in which he shares his humorous ruminations on life, manliness, meat and, of course, growing the perfect mustache.
