Are you intrigued by the idea of a career that blends all of these disciplines? The UW School of Energy Resources provides energy-related education, research and outreach. We showcase energy research projects at UW and bridge academics and industry. Our Energy Resource Management and Development bachelor of science program is designed to fill the increasing demand for professionals with a multidisciplinary background. Through a combination of rigorous academic training, hands-on scenarios, and real-world internships, students are prepared for the essential roles in the future energy arena.

Career opportunities include energy law, public relations, energy development and management, energy research and discovery, reservoir modeling and simulation, energy lease negotiations, regulatory oversights and planning, geology and geophysics, and air,water and land quality monitoring and remediation.
