UW History Students to Present Research Tuesday

Vicki Doherty will share her experiences as an intern at the National Portrait Gallery during the Department of History Undergraduate Research Symposium Tuesday, Oct. 21.

Undergraduate students in the University of Wyoming Department of History will present results of their research Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 3:10 p.m. in Room 1055 of the UW College of Engineering Building. The program is free and open to the public.

Presenters and topics are:

-- Vicki Doherty, Casper, “Interning at the National Portrait Gallery.”

-- Chandler Harris, Cokeville, “A New Nation: The United States Army in Reconstruction Era Wyoming Territory.”

-- Alexander Vernon, Cheyenne, “The Basement of the University of Wyoming Art Museum is just as Interesting as the Exhibits Themselves.”
