International Education Week Underway at UW

International Education Week at the University of Wyoming continues through Saturday, Nov. 19, with a full slate of events.

The International Student Association collaborates with the Associated Students of UW to host the activities.

Various free public events will take place on campus to celebrate international diversity. Students from other countries bring an important diversity of cultures and ideas to the UW campus, providing opportunities for education, growth and friendships, according to organizers.

International Education Week events are:

Tuesday, Nov. 15, 5-7 p.m. -- Sushi workshop, Wyoming Union fireplace lounge, followed by sushi tasting.

Wednesday, Nov. 16, 5-8 p.m. -- Film “The Good Lie” will be screened in the UW College of Agriculture and Natural Resources auditorium. Discussion follows.

Thursday, Nov. 17, 4-6 p.m. -- Service project. Meet behind Rolling Mills in the Wyoming Union.

4-7 p.m. -- Washakie International Night, Washakie Dining Center.

Friday, Nov. 18, 6-9 p.m. -- International Night, featuring live performance, improv dance competition and free pizza, Wyoming Union lower floor.

Saturday, Nov. 19, 6 p.m. -- Etiquette Dinner, featuring Middle Eastern food. Event is a formal dinner followed by a dance party, Wyoming Union Ballroom.
