UW Transit and Parking Services Introduces Parkmobile, New Day Lot Pay Kiosks

The University of Wyoming day lot, located east of Half Acre Recreation and Wellness Center, now features expiry reminders by phone and the option to add additional time from a cellphone through the smartphone app Parkmobile.

With the Parkmobile app, and the new pay kiosks, customers can pay by license plate number, instead of space number, through a variety of payment options. Parking in the day lot is $1 per hour.

“We are excited about the increased capabilities of these new parking kiosks and their ability to interact with smartphones,” says UW Transit and Parking Services Manager Paul Kunkel. “Overall, these kiosks should provide a very efficient means of parking for day lot customers.”

The day lot is open to anyone and is a great option for parking on campus for short periods of time, Kunkel adds.

“This lot offers a convenient and flexible parking option for all campus visitors, students and employees,” he adds.

To start using Parkmobile, download the app by searching “Parkmobile” and then create an account.
