Application Deadline for UW Natural Resources Collaboration Program May 30

The Ruckelshaus Institute of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming is accepting applications for the next class of its Collaboration Program in Natural Resources (CPNR).

Due to the coronavirus, the Ruckelshaus Institute has made adjustments to the 2020-21 CPNR schedule. The program will now meet monthly between August and January, with the final session remaining unchanged in April 2021.

Applications are due by May 30, and participants will be notified of their status by June 12.

Each spring, the Ruckelshaus Institute welcomes up to 20 natural resource professionals into this yearlong training program designed to give mid- and upper-career professionals the skills and knowledge necessary to apply collaborative processes to complex environmental and natural resource issues. Participants attend six hands-on learning sessions in locations around Wyoming and receive professional training in negotiation, facilitation, leadership and collaborative problem-solving.

Graduates of the program go on to lead collaborative processes throughout the state and region, helping to build collaborative capacity in Wyoming and across the West.

For more information, including a list of program dates and how to apply, visit the Collaboration Program in Natural Resources webpage, or call CPNR Director Deb Kleinman at (307) 314-2385 or email deb@lupinecollaborative.com.
