UW Homecoming Parade Winners Announced

An entry from Sigma Nu and Alpha Phi was named the overall winner in the University of Wyoming Homecoming parade Saturday, Oct. 23.

There were 65 entries, including floats, walkers and marching bands. The Homecoming theme was “Come Home, Cowboys.”

Other winners in the adjudicated float categories were:

-- Most Original: Chinese Students and Scholars Association, and Associated Students Interested in China.

-- Best Use of Theme: Wyoming Pre-Veterinary Club.

-- On-Campus Walking Group: Cowboy Country Swing Club.

-- Off-Campus Walking Group: UniWyo Federal Credit Union.

-- Campus Spirit: Service, Leadership and Community Engagement office.

-- Off-Campus Group/Commercial: Landmark Haunted Basement.
