A statement from Wyoming 4-H

Dear 4-H Volunteer and Members,

The health and safety of everyone is the priority for 4-H programming.  We want everyone to be safe and feel like they can participate to the extent you are comfortable in 4-H activities.  4-H has occurred virtually for a couple of months and everyone is anxious to do things in person. The restrictions from UW on face-to-face 4-H activities through May 15th has expired with any meeting limitations coming from our Governor and county health officers.  Everyone needs to be aware of county limitations and know that 4-H experiences will be different for members based on where they live, applicable health restrictions, and subsequent opportunities.

Here is a link to the 4-H state operational plans that should be your guide in planning and implementing 4-H activities moving forward-   4-H meeting/activity should use these guidelines along with UW 4-H policies and procedures.  Not all activities are 4-H sponsored so please be aware as you participate. Some activities may be sponsored by other groups or organizations that advertise to 4-H youth to encourage their participation.  Thank you for engaging virtually, and we are grateful to start having face-to-face 4-H activities again!

If you have questions contact the UW Extension (4-H) office.
