UW Food Science Club
The Food Science Club is composed of undergraduate and graduate students interested in food science, regardless of their major. The club's primary purpose is to educate members about the food and meat industries in the U.S.
What do we do? Our club caters university and local Laramie events to raise funds to be used by club members to explore the U.S. food and meat industries. The club tours food manufacturing and processing plants, attends regional and national professional food and meat science meetings.
How do we benefit you as a student? As a club member, you will establish a greater base of knowledge about the food industry while networking with current and former students, as well as food industry professionals. These will allow you to discover career opportunities in the food or meat industry.
Upcoming club events/activities
The Food Science club meets every other Thursday in the evenings at 7:30 in the Animal Science foyer.
