SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ROTC STUDENTS TO STUDY ARABIC ABROAD

The University of Wyoming Project GO program is a hybrid blend of online and in-person preparatory course work with a centerpiece Arabic intensive study abroad experience in the Kingdom of Jordan for 15 ROTC cadets. This summer scholarship program will provide ROTC students not only with a quality language experience (190+ instructional hours in Jordan and 45 domestically) but extensive cultural immersion through arranged homestays in Amman, Jordan over a 10-week period.

Location: US and Amman, Jordan

Language: Arabic

Length of Program: 2 months domestically (hybrid), 10 weeks abroad (Jordan)

Program Dates: April 1st– August 12th, 2022

 Online Preparatory Coursework: April 1– May 29 (2 credit hours)

 Cultural Immersion at UW Campus: May 30 – June 2

 Overseas Coursework: June 3 – August 12 (6 credit hours)

Program Provider: The University of Wyoming and CGE Jordan

# of credit hours: 8 credits transferable to any university

# of openings available: 15 students
