Distinguished Speaker Hamid Khan: UW alumni and expert on Afghanistan and Islamic Law

Professor Khan is a Judicial Education Attorney at the Federal Judicial Center in Washington, an adjunct professor in Islamic Law at the University of Michigan, and a UW Honors alum. In this presentation on September 29th, 2021, he explores his Wyoming roots, his knowledge of Islamic Law, and his commitment to the rule of law through public policy, global program development, and legal education around the world. Mr. Khan is a former UW alum as well as expert on Afghanistan and Islamic Law. The presentation was hosted by the UW Honors College in partnership with SPPAIS, the Global Engagement Office and the Center for Global Studies.
