Our team of curators and educators specializes in making the world come alive through art and objects. We offer various options for university faculty and instructors from all academic disciplines to engage with our collection. A customized class session in the art museum is a great way to integrate active learning strategies, observation skills, and creative thinking into the student's educational experience. We are continuing to offer engagement options that accommodate virtual and in-person learning.
In order to ensure a quality experience, please submit a class visit request form 2-3 weeks in advance. We will do our best to honor other requests outside this time frame.
Please fill out the art experience request even if you plan to do a self-guided visit.
The following in-person and virtual art experiences provide an overview of available options. Neighboring community colleges are always welcome! If you have questions, please contact museumed@uwyo.edu.
Self-guided visits to the museum are an option for students and faculty whenever UWAM is open to the general public. Please make sure to fill out the art experience request form.
