32nd Annual Juried University of Wyoming Student Exhibition

January 27 - March 24, 2007

The 32nd Annual Juried University of Wyoming Student Exhibition has been juried by Lisa Tamaris Becker, Director of the CU/Boulder Art Museum. Every year, the art museum invited all students enrolled at UW this year to submit up to three works of original art to be considered for the exhibition.

For the last 12 years, the UW Student Art League has partnered with the museum to present the Salon des Refusés, an exhibition of works not selected for the museum exhibition. Cash and purchase awards are available for both exhibitions and the award ceremony during the exhibit's opening at the art museum has become a major event on campus. Art Talk by student awards winners will be scheduled following the award ceremony.

Cash Awards include the Ann Simpson and Family Award, the Lisa Lewis Dubois Student Exhibition Award, the Hermine Neustadtel Memorial Award, the First Interstate Bank Award, the National Advisory Board Award, the UW A&S Dean's Office Award, the UW Student Art League Award, and the University of Wyoming Art Museum Awards. Purchase Awards are the Joe C. Tull Memorial Purchase Award in Printmaking and Photography, UW President's Office, UW Office of Academic Affairs, UW Office of Student Affairs, UW Division of Administration, UW Libraries, UW College of Health Sciences, and UW Outreach School.
