Highpoint Editions: Contemporary Prints features work from the Highpoint Editions, the fine art publishing component of Highpoint Center for Printmaking. Invited national and international professional artists such as Willie Cole, Julie Mehretu, and others, have created original prints under the guidance and support of Master Printer Cole Rogers.
As a complement to this exhibition, prints from notable Highpoint Center for Printmaking alumni will also be featured in “Outstanding Affiliates” exhibition on view in the Wyoming Gallery.
The Mid America Print Council (MAPC), in partnership with the UW Department of Art and Art History, will host a three-day bi-annual conference titled Go West: The Collaborate Turn, in Laramie, October 3-6. Over 300 printmakers from the Midwest and West are expected
to attend. Highpoint Center for Printmaking co-founders Executive Director Carla McGrath
and Artistic Director & Master Printer Cole Rogers have been selected as the Outstanding
Printmakers for the 2018 conference.
