His talk for this year's Humanities Summit is titled “Turning Worlds Upside Down: Reflections on Public History and Podcasting a Revolution” and will be held Thursday, March 26, Coe Library 506 - 8:45 – 10:15 am.

 

Jim Ambuske, Ph.D., is Director of Digital History at More Perfect, a national civics organization, where he leads In Pursuit's digital efforts to explore the last 250 years of the American experiment, including the forthcoming podcast series, In Pursuit with Colleen Shogan. A historian of the American Revolution, Scotland, and the British Atlantic world, Ambuske is the author of several essays and book chapters on revolutionary America and transatlantic legal history. He is also the creator and narrator of Worlds Turned Upside Down, a narrative documentary podcast series about the history of the American Revolution, the co-host of the interview series Revolutions in Retrospect, and an executive producer of the narrative documentary series Finding Jane Austen.
