Aircraft Scheduling
It is a goal of the Flight Facility to accommodate as many users as economically as possible. The cost per passenger can be reduced if the passenger aircraft is used jointly. Frequently it is possible to schedule trips where more than one party may be accommodated and cost shared.
Tentative Scheduling
Flights may be tentatively scheduled. Should another user request a trip during the same time period, the tentative schedule must either be made firm or lose the time available to the user with the firm schedule.
Scheduling Priority
Priority is normally on a first-come-first-served basis. The President and the Trustees may preempt other users occasionally, but this does not happen often.
Cost
Passenger flights are billed to the user at a rate per nautical mile distance regardless of the number of seats occupied. This cost can be shared among multiple users if they agree to this arrangement in advance of the flight.
