Potential: 80 acres, warmer area of the state, pasture area with some irrigation water available,
reasonably good soil
Problems: years of over-grazing, weed invasion, past Russian olive infestation, not enough distributed
livestock water

Woo-hoo! I (successfully) install a livestock watering pipeline (pdf)
Potential: 37 acres, relatively undisturbed landscape, variety of types of vegetation sagebrush
& grass, aspen, many species of conifers, riparian area (creek), abundant wildlife,
owners interested in renewable energy sources
Problems: Mountain Pine Beetle epidemic in progress, some small weed infestations, White Pine
Blister Rust, Ips beetle, some aspen not very healthy, severe snow drifting issues
in winter

Potential: 20 acres, room for livestock, wildlife
Problems: on fragile stabilized sand dunes, building activities caused "blowout" which is challenging
to re-vegetate, little/no landscaping and antelope eat landscaping plants, water-wise
plantings needed due to limited water supply, cheatgrass infestation
