I study the genetics associated with the origin and maintenance of species, by investigating natural hybrids and species that have originated through hybridization. I also study the genomic consequences of evolutionary adaptation in response to natural selection. This work is based on the development of novel statistical analyses, some fieldwork and laboratory methods for genomics.
