Fred Catchpole currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Eighty-Eighty Oil, the crude oil trading and marketing company of the True companies. Headquartered in Casper, the company trades and markets crude oil throughout the Rockies, Mid Continent, and Gulf Coast. The company's assets and infrastructure throughout North Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming help facilitate its marketing and trading operations.
Previously, Fred served 27 years in the Marine Corps, retiring as a lieutenant colonel in 2021. He received his masters degree from the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island, and served a combat tour in Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He also made other deployments throughout his service, and his final two duty stations were at U.S. Marine Forces Africa (Stuttgart, Germany) and United States Central Command (Tampa, Florida).
A 1996 College of Business graduate, Fred was also active in the Sigma Nu fraternity and the Associated Students of the University of Wyoming (ASUW) student government.
