Jacob Doss
Tradecraft Schools
Co-Founder

Jacob is a graduate of the University of Wyoming, where he distinguished himself as
the quarterback for the Cowboys. After earning his finance degree, he began his career
in commercial lending at a regional bank, gaining valuable experience in financial
operations and strategic growth. Eager for new opportunities, Jacob relocated to Florida,
where he took on key leadership roles as athletic director and head football coach
at a private prep school in Windermere. There, he established the school's football
program and spearheaded significant departmental growth, all while refining his leadership
skills and mastering operational management. Driven by a desire to make a broader
impact, Jacob then transitioned from athletics into the education and finance sectors,
joining Mia Share, a company specializing in financial payment solutions for trade
schools. Becoming part of the founding team in 2020, he worked closely with hundreds
of schools, developing a deep understanding of their operations. His efforts were
instrumental in Mia Share's rapid growth, helping to expand its partner network from
five schools to over 500+ and scaling the business into a multimillion-dollar enterprise.
Fueled by his passion for empowering students, Jacob co-founded Tradecraft to help
individuals achieve their career goals through trade education. Owning and operating
trade schools has been a long-standing aspiration, and Tradecraft represents the realization
of his vision to combine education, opportunity, and innovation.
Outside of work, Jacob cherishes quality time with his family—his wife Jessica and
their two sons, Jackson (6) and Dash (4). He also pursues his passion for football,
coaching the Jacksom Hole High School football team. An avid outdoorsman, you can
find Jake skiing and cycling in all its forms—road, mountain, and gravel.
