Kristine Fink
EMIT Technologies
Quality Assurance Manager

Originally from Scarsdale, New York Kristine Fink earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
with a minor in Manufacturing from Michigan Technological University and moved to
Wyoming in 2020. In 2022, she completed her MBA with an emphasis in Finance at the
University of Wyoming. During her time at UW, Kristine competed in the Daniels Ethics
Fund Competition—an experience that shaped her perspective on business ethics and
the importance of ethical leadership. The lessons she gained through her MBA continue
to guide her career, and she remains committed to sharing those principles within
the College of Business and the broader community.
Kristine currently serves as Quality Assurance Manager at EMIT Technologies, where
she oversees quality across production processes to ensure every product meets internal
standards and customer expectations. Her responsibilities include reviewing in-process
inspection data, tracking costs, identifying trends on the shop floor, and collaborating
with production leads to address potential issues before they escalate. She also aligns
inspection workflows with production schedules and tailors quality plans to specific
products, customer requirements, and historical challenges to maintain consistency
in both quality and delivery.
One of Kristine's favorite aspects of her work is real-time problem-solving. Whether
improving efficiency or addressing unforeseen defects, she finds purpose in strengthening
systems that support production teams and customers alike.
Wyoming has become home for Kristine thanks to its strong sense of community and opportunities
to contribute—whether through business, sports development, or community health initiatives.
In her spare time, she coaches volleyball and volunteers as a Basic EMT, both of which
allow her to stay connected to the community she values deeply.
