Brandy Marrou

Brandy graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2000. Wanting to stay true to her
small town roots and remain in Wyoming, she joined MHP in August 2000, which she
is a licensed CPA and partner.
Brandy provides services in audit, accounting, consulting, employee benefit administration,
tax planning and return preparation for both businesses and individuals. Her client
portfolio includes government entities, commercial entities, not-for-profits, employee
benefit plans, small businesses and individuals.
Brandy also oversees the Firm's General Services and Employee Benefits Departments,
which consist of approximately 25 professional staff. She is a key component in the
Firm's efforts to continually develop and refine its processes to ensure timely and
quality client service. Brandy is also very passionate about people development and
mentoring.
Brandy is a member of several professional organizations, including the AICPA, the
Wyoming and Colorado Societies of CPAs, NASACT, and the Colorado GFOA and is a graduate
of the 2017 Class of Leadership Cheyenne. She also serves on numerous boards of directors,
including the UW College of Business Advisory Board (2012 – present); Funding the
Future (2014 – present; Treasurer 2015 – 2018); K9s 4 Mobility (2014 – present; Treasurer
2015 – present); LEADS (2017 – present; Secretary/Treasurer 2018 – 2019); and United
Way of Laramie County (2010 – 2017; Treasurer 2012 – 2015).
Brandy is a Wyoming native, as is her husband, Steve, who is a taxidermist and avid
hunter and fisherman. They have two children – Trevor and McKenna – who keep them
very busy. Both children are well known at the Firm and know which partner or staff
to seek out to find the candy stash. Outside of attending school and sporting events
for her children and spending time with her family, Brandy enjoys spending time exploring
the outdoors, reading and traveling to see family and friends
