Erin Taylor is a proud two time graduate of the University of Wyoming College of Business, holding a Master of Science in Regulatory & Environmental Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Her academic grounding in economic analysis, regulatory systems, and business strategy has shaped a career spent at the center of Wyoming's most complex policy, tax, and regulatory decisions.

A Cheyenne based strategic advisor, Erin has more than two decades of experience influencing Wyoming's tax policy, regulatory landscape, and business advocacy community. As Principal of Taylor Strategies & Consulting, LLC, she brings analytic rigor and bipartisan credibility to clients across the energy, business, and nonprofit sectors — expertise built through long standing relationships with policymakers, regulators, and civic leaders statewide.

Erin's policy roots run deep. As Executive Director of the Wyoming Taxpayers Association for nearly a decade, she became one of Wyoming's most trusted voices on fiscal policy, producing nonpartisan analysis that shaped major legislation on fuel taxation, sales and use tax reform, special district transparency, and property tax relief. She later served as Campaign Manager for U.S. Senator Mike Enzi's 2014 primary, directing a county by county strategy that delivered his strongest win margin in office.

Her regulatory career spans Rocky Mountain Power/PacifiCorp, the Edison Electric Institute, the Electric Power Supply Association, and Montana Dakota Utilities, giving her a national perspective on grid dynamics, electric rates, and energy policy that she consistently brings home to Wyoming.

Erin's civic commitment is a defining thread of her work. She currently serves on the Grand Teton National Park Foundation Resource Council, the WBA Foundation, the Wyoming Mental Health Alliance, and the Wyoming Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts. Her past leadership includes chairing the Wyoming Business Alliance and the Wyoming Society for Association Executives, serving two terms on the Wyoming Community Foundation, and gubernatorial appointments to the Wyoming Arts Council and the Wyoming Lottery Corporation.

A Leadership Wyoming graduate and Women of Influence honoree, Erin remains an active volunteer, executive coach, and mindfulness instructor in the Cheyenne community she calls home. She lives in Cheyenne with her husband, Shawn, their three children — Byson, Ava, and Slade — and three spirited corgis: Carbon, Toga, and Chewie.
