Research Interests:
Mike's research interests include secure VLSI design automation, developing
algorithms for secure communication originating in streaming and pseudo-streaming
data sources (e.g. IoT, autonomous vehicles) while also developing authentic cyber
learning experiences for K-20 students.

Research Interests:
Rafer is pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science with respects to secure distributed
systems. His interests include bio-inspired algorithms, Complex Adaptive Systems,
and network protocols. He is currently working on artificial immune system approaches
to security.

Research Interests:
After completing Bachelors degrees in Math and Computer Science, she joined
the CEDAR lab where she is working on distributed systems, swarm communications, and
encryption mechanisms.

Research Interests:
Mason is from Star Valley, WY and is working on a BS/MS in Computer Science.
He is interested in Computer Science outreach education, systems engineering, and
security tool development. He is currently working on CEDAR's virtualized lab and
is exploring areas to research.

Danny is from Laramie Wyoming, and he also decided to stay in Laramie and attend
the University of Wyoming. He is in his fourth year there, and will be graduating
in December of 2018.

Research Interests:
Fiona Moss is a second-year Computer Science Master's student at the University
of Wyoming. She completed her Bachelors in Computer Science in India. Her research
interests are machine learning and cyber-security, and she is currently working on
her thesis involving the application of machine learning techniques for Network Intrusion
Detection.

Research Interests:
Rasana is from Nepal where she completed her undergraduate in Electronics and
Communications Engineering. She is working on Continuous Authentication Systems using
Keystroke Dynamics.

Research Interests:
Joshua is from Cheyenne, WY and is pursuing a MS in Computer Science. His research
interests include machine learning and the security of machine learning algorithms.
He is currently working on developing a novel poisoning attack method which utilizes
the genetic algorithm in order to obfuscate a machine learning model’s decision-making
process.

Research Interests:
Lisa is from Denver but has lived in Laramie for the past 10 years and works
in the IT department at UW. She has a general interest in AI, machine learning and
cybersecurity but would like to pear down those interests to find a focus as she continues
her coursework. Lisa is having trouble finding a focus because she finds several
general areas interesting, but is open to a variety of different projects.

Oyedola is from Parker, Colorado and is pursuing a BS in Computer Science.
He is interested in software development, AI, and Cyber Security research. On his
off time Oyedola enjoys biking, traveling, and reading.

of Wyoming. He is interested in working with cyber-security and is open to other areas
of work within Computer Science.

Winston is from Greenwood Village, Colorado. His primary research interest
is in Distributed Denial of Service Attack detection and mitigation. Currently, he
is exploring using machine learning techniques to identify attributes of Distributed
Denial of Service Attacks. He is interested in writing papers regarding findings for
potential publication.

Taylor is from Cheyenne, WY and is currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science.
He is interested in Industrial Control Systems and is helping develop the CEDAR ICS
research testbench.

Jessa is from New Mexico and is pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science with concentrations
in Big Data and International Engineering. She is interested in machine learning and
is working on publishing research concerning potential AI bias in online advertising.

Alejandro is originally from Venezuela, but has been a Wyoming resident for
almost 10 years. He is interested in working with cyber-security in the future.

William Bollinger is a Undergraduate student at the University of Wyoming studying
Business management & entrepreneurship with a minor in computer science. He moved
from Hawaii to Wyoming for school and has a long lived interest in all things computers.
He competed in the 2012 Cyber Patriots & 2018 National Cyber League cybersecurity
competitions.

Garrett is a junior engineering student interested in all things science related.
He is involved in CAD, coding, and independent research. In the future, Garrett hopes
he can continue learning about and working with computer science.

Nic is from Casper, WY and is currently working towards a B.S in Mechanical
Engineering. Nic is interested in programming. He is currently working on the production
and programming of the microbit "badge" for use in outreach activities.

Andey is a freshman computer science student at the University. His research
interests focus primarily on artificial intelligence and securing people within the
digital through ideas such as continuous user authentication.

Jarek grew up in Wyoming and has been at the University of Wyoming for a few
years. He is pursuing a computer science degree, concentrating in big data, minoring
in statistics, and hoping to get a certification in cyber security. He is interested
in software security and swarm security.

Research Interests:
Adrian is from both Europe and the US though mainly the latter. He is currently
interested in game design and matching learning/AI and is currently working on creating
a better file system. In the future, Adrian would like to apply ML and AI in order
to create a smart operating system and better AI/User interactions in video games.
On his time off Adrian enjoys photography, hiking, biking, learning new languages,
and bingeing the occasional Netflix series.

Madi is from Cheyenne, WY. She is interested in cybersecurity research, specifically
in using machine learning to predict anomalous behavior (e.g. the Tempest project).
She is interested in writing papers for potential publication.

Wyatt is from Carpenter, Wyoming. After graduation, Wyatt will work for the
DoD at Edwards AFB in California. There, he will be maintaining software that is used
to gather data on test flights for new aircraft.
