The CEDAR Center is engaged in supported several different Recognized Student Organizations (RSO) at the University of Wyoming. The RSOs below have members of the CEDAR Center actively engaging with and supporting the student clubs.
Defense Against the Dark Arts (DATDA) is an RSO focused on learning cyber security individual member projects and presentations. Topics usually discussed in the club include digital privacy, wifi encryption methods and activities, and various other networking concepts. Members also participate in online competitions to test and add new skills to their repertoire.
WiCyS has arrived! The University of Wyoming Women in Cybersecurity Chapter (WiCyS) is a new club on campus dedicated to increasing diversity within cybersecurity. We aim to provide cybersecurity education content that is engaging and accessible. Each meeting includes a hands-on mini-workshop that increases cyber prowess and refines multi-disciplinary skills.
