Laurie Bonini

Laurie Bonini grew up in Rock Springs, Wyo., and received a B.A. in English from the University of Wyoming (UW). After working for 10 years in the hospitality industry, she returned to UW, working in Academic Affairs as the University Studies Program Manager and the Freshman Interest Group (FIG) coordinator, and has served as the recruiting and retention coordinator in the College of Agriculture & Natural Resources and in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences.

Bonini manages the Professional Advising Office for the college, and provides college-wide support to students, faculty, academic professionals and staff on student advising issues, including CEpS and UW policies, degree checks, Banner, WyoWeb and DegreeWorks. Bonini oversees new-student orientation, ES course (pre-requisites and Banner scheduling), PowerGroups, and the College Scholarship Program. She also coordinates the yearly articulation meeting for the college and its Wyoming community college colleagues.
