Free, Confidential Counseling and Support Available!

 We see:

  • Individuals, ages 4 through older adults
  • UW Students
  • Community members in and around Laramie
  • Telehealth Clients from anywhere in the state of Wyoming

We are currently offering screening for children (4+) and adults for intake assignments. Face-to-face counseling and limited Telemental health services are available. Laramie residents are urged to take advantage of in-person services!

To Receive Services, Please Do the Following

  1. Fill Out Request for Services Form (To request services please follow the link)
  2. We will set up a screening visit to make sure our services meet your needs.
  3. After the screening, we will connect you with a counselor for an intake session

** Our services are open to all people, without discrimination. However, as a training clinic, we cannot provide services for every type of concern. If you need care outside of our trainee’s scope of practice, we will be happy to assist you with referrals to access recommended care **

Why Should I Seek Support

Reasons to seek counseling may include anxiety (generalized, social, health), depression, or other mental health symptoms; experiences of loss/grief, financial hardship, unemployment, housing problems, or food insecurity; some individuals have experienced difficulties in education, relationship strain, or domestic violence. If you or your child has experienced any of these, please reach out to schedule a screening. Help is available!

Detailed Information

Counseling services are provided by graduate students under qualified clinical supervision in a modern, professional clinic. Using the latest in digital clinical technology and a team approach that makes use of live supervision; we are able to provide both high quality clinical services to our clients, and excellent clinical training for our students.

We provide counseling for:

  • Depression & anxiety
  • Stress related to school or work
  • Mental health & wellness
  • Sexuality & identity concerns
  • Adapting to life transitions
  • Support maintaining recovery from substance-use disorders
  • Death, loss, & grief concerns
  • Working through past experiences of abuse and/or trauma
  • Childhood concerns for ages 4 and older (using play therapy)

Episodic Time-Limited Model of Care

WellSpring Counseling Clinic operates under the auspices of the University of Wyoming College of Education’s Program in Counselor Education and Supervision.

Counselors will discuss options for active client’s treatment continuation (with hiatus), referral, or intermediary treatment options; please do not hesitate to ask your counselor or a clinic coordinator if you have questions.
