Online Instruction Certificate Curriculum Requirements

The goal of our Online Instruction Certificate program is to provide a starting foundation in Learning, Design, and Technology knowledge, concepts, and practices. The OIC will appeal to education and training professionals who want to be able to select, integrate, design, develop, implement, and evaluate effective learning experience designs in a variety of environments and settings. Students must complete the following four online LDT courses to fulfill the OIC program graduation requirements.

Required Courses (12 credit hours)

  • LDTE 5000: Theoretical Foundations of Learning, Design, and Technology (3 credit hours)
  • LDTE 5100: Innovative Pedagogy (3 credit hours)
  • LDTE 5120: Managing Design & Technology (3 credit hours)
  • LDTE 5210: Learning Experience Design (3 credit hours)
